Slipknot has received six nominations at the Kerrang! Awards to be presented August 3 in a "secret" location. Kerrang! is a weekly music magazine from the U.K. In addition to its nomination for Best Live Band, the same award it received in 2000, Slipknot received nods for Best Video ("Suffer"), Best Album (All Hope is Gone), Best International Band, and two Best Single nominations for "Dead Memories" and "Psychosocial."

They will be competing against the likes of Metallica (nominationed for Best Live Band, Best International Band, Best Video, Best Single, and Best Album).

Slipknot won the Best Band on the Planet Award in 2001 and the Icon Award in 2008.
