Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction are touring for a cause this summer. The bands are attempting to raise money for a fan, Eric De La Cruz, who is in need of a heart transplant. The bands have offered VIP tour tickets, signed albums, photos, etc. in order to raise money. According to the
Nine Inch Nails website, the band has assisted in raising more than $850,000.
JanesAddiction.com is offering the following opportunity.
“Before every show, we regularly warm up in an intimate style set-up backstage together. For $1,000, we’d like to offer 10 guests per show the opportunity to sit in us, hang out, and witness the JA preshow experience. In addition to the backstage hang and autograph signing, you will have the chance to watch our set from the side of the stage if you’d like.”
More about the effort can be read at
TheLifegiverProject.org, the organization setup for De La Cruz by Veronica De La Cruz, his sister and an CNN correspondent.
So if you are a NIN, Jane's Addicition, or Veronica De La Cruz fan, or not, help the cause.
